Rule and waymarking
Bicycles are allowed only on tracks and paths, preferably the marked network, and not cross-country (art. 21). Races need the president’s prior authorisation (art. 24).
The 2021 A3 leaflet describes nine MTB routes, with a start panel and plates on concrete markers. Visit Navarra mentions ten routes: we do not settle the difference here. Ask for the day’s map at the information centre.
The 2014 guide adds: stay on MTB or all-vehicle routes; in rain keep to gravel (clay becomes a trap); give way to walkers; do not approach sheep flocks. Some MTB stretches share motor routes: 40 km/h.

Which to ride, how to prepare
El Ferial (8.6 km) is the shortest figure in that guide. Landazuría (14.5 km) starts at El Yugo. The polígono loop from Aguilares (31.7 km) takes in Castildetierra according to the official text. Gran Bardena (68 km, 520 m) is another scale.
The Perimetral–El Paso link was still listed as closed on 14 September 2026. Water, helmet, puncture kit, wind layer, and park hours from 8:00 until one hour before night.
