Horse riding in the Bardenas Reales

What the park says

Horses with a rider are allowed only on the marked itinerary network (art. 32). Organised equestrian events need the president’s authorisation (art. 34).

Camping and overnight stays in the open remain forbidden (art. 29). If a firm offers a “desert bivouac”, ask where you actually sleep.

Your horse or a guide

Bringing your own horse means knowing the marked network. The park does not publish an anonymous hire desk at the information centre. With a guide, ask about level, weight limit, helmet and language.
