Bardenas Reales notices: closures, hunting drives and access

This week in the park

What each notice means

• Hunting drives: in the hunting season the park closes the tracks that cross the drive area, usually from 8:00 to 14:00, often announcing it only two to four days ahead. Check the notices the day before.
• Air exercises: on exercise days at the firing range, the park closes a stretch of the Perimetral to vehicles and pedestrians. The notice gives the stretch and the times.
• Events: rallies, races and other authorised events can affect the usual access and routes in some zones.
• Closures with no end date: tracks or paths closed until further notice. They are listed under “Ongoing notices”.
• SPA: while raptors are breeding, the park closes the “El Plano – Blanca Alta” Special Protection Area. According to the park this runs at least from mid-January to late August or early September. In 2026 it reopened on 16 September on foot only, on PORN tracks, with no mountain bikes, horses or motor vehicles.
